Now for something different. As an experiment, I am reading out chapters from Greenwood Tales: Stories of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. This is a charming volume of Robin Hood Tales, published in the early 1950s and won by my late father in a maths competition at school.
The prose is lovely, with a touching innocence and naivety about it, and a joy to read. I hope you get some pleasure from listening, as I did from reading. More to follow!
